Trifles Drama

I liked how in this drama began somewhere simple in a kitchen at a country home. I thought the story was really interesting and intense since it had to do with a murder. And that a couple of women who know who had killed Mr. Wright but said nothing made it even more dramatic. I thought it got even better when two different investigations started taking place and I started wondering If the women or men would solve the crime first. The dead canary I thought made the story a lot more dark and dramatic, I actually enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would considering how long It looked. I felt sorry for Mrs. Wright after finding out that she was with a man that basically changed her life for the worse and had a violent temper. the drama was dark and deep which is what I like in most stories or plays and even movies so I became very interested In the story.

Tired Sex

This poem was very amusing to me. I like how the author used examples such as yawing and things that were going on outside to show how bored the woman really was. What i got most out of the poem was that the couple wanted to re-spark the relationship by have ing sex. but it wasnt working out to well. Overall i thought the poem was pretty entertaining and im sure it was intended to be taken more as a comedy.

not waving but drowning

I thought this was a very cool. It seemed like the individual had been asking for help for a while from someone or a group of people but never got the help or answers that he needed. And eventually because of this he died. After he died the people that could have helped him made up excuses why they didnt help out and in a way tried to blame they death on him. This was interesting to read because to me this type of situation happens all the time. For instance when someone dies on a drug overdose people doon't consider it a great loss because its just another druggie off the streets but those people never take in account what happened in thier life to make them start using the drugs.

Deathly

This song was very interesting to me because of how confident the author was when they said they didnt want any part of being loved or giveing love. It made me see love in a completely new way. Love in the this song was desribed as something that was sick or could harm you. The way that love was used really interested me because it was way different than normal ways that loves is shown or expressed. The author shows that love is too much work and isn't worth it which really changed my outlook on how people always want to search for their significant other. The person in the song demands to stay away from love and everything that has to do with it and really makes you believe that if love finds them, that they will die.
